Bridges is alright as the guy in love but stuck in the middle, Ward is excellent as the not so innocent lady, and Woods does fairly well as the mean small mobster, this movie is apparently a loose remake of Build My Gallows High, I found the very first half of the movie respectable, the love story is good, but the second half is slightly complicated and irregular with the rest, it does not assist that the program is just over 2 hours, at least it has the great tune play in the end credits, general I found it an average romantic thriller.
